I am a freelance photographer and an emerging practicing visual artist.

Born and raised in Calgary, I retain a dual creative practice that encourages interconnectivity throughout my work. Previously a Photography Practicum at the Banff Centre for Creativity and the Arts, I've captured a range of commercial work and specialize in portraiture, art documentation, product, and events. In 2016, I completed a Bachelor of Design in Photography from the Alberta College of Art + Design

In my visual art practice I utilize film and digital techniques to experiment with text manipulation, non-traditional 2D installation methods and the deconstruction of concepts, materials, and faces.

Greatly influenced by the works of Barbara Kruger, Tracey Emin, and Sophie Calle, I have been researching the social intersections of technology and intimacy—two opposing entities that are gradually becoming integrated. Data farming, social media curation, and applications designed for anything and everything have impacted our human relationships, our ability to be vulnerable and intimate, and the division of identity in online and offline personas. As a user, creator, and feminist thinker, my aim is to observe and critique the social changes that are taking place in how we communicate.
